                Nguyen's grandpa had a sigh.

                "I  did...  But  he  was  so  different  from  the  time  his  young
            brother dead by French militarist...!" In an emotion of sobbing
            he said.

                Nguyen's mother looked at her parent in law and shook her
            head.

                "Hung had died a year now. Please don't remind him. It will
            make both of you falling deep in the sorrow and effect on your
            health."


                Nguyen's grandma wiped her eyes, and in sorrow she said:

                "I tried to forget him, but his image always crosses my mind
            after Cao had left home."  She looked at Nguyen's mother.

                "Lord had to help you. Without his help, they will shoot at
            you like they had shot Hung on the field a year ago."


                "Thank God. I thought so too."

                "What they do after they saw your husband portrait?"

                "After the door opened. Five soldiers directed their rifles to
            me while I raised my hands. One of them give me a signal to
            walk out of the room, and he took my husband portrait. He had a
            smile  after  looking  at  it,  and  they  conducted  me  toward  their
            Theater Commander at  Do village's cemetery where I saw a lot
            of  the  people,  who  were  caught  by  French  soldiers  and
            conducted  onto  here.  One  of  them  guided  me  to  meet  a
            Vietnamese interpreter and his commander..."


                "What did they do for you?"   Grandma interrupted, asked.

                "They asked me his division and where he was now. I told
