Nguyen’s mother was so happy to welcome his father back
home in Hanoi Capital after the end Dien-Bien-Phu battle. She
invited all their friends in the celebrated party for peace that she
thought the war never broken up in her children's age. She was
hoping her children will live in the peaceful of the country, and
people will love one of the others to share the way of living
without the sound of bombs and canons. She also dreams that
she will follow her spouse to anywhere with love and lives
beside her children to teach them understanding about war,
peace, and love. Therefore she ran everywhere to talk with her
friends at the party while her face was bright with a full laugh,
            and always beside her spouse.

Nguyen's father would like to move his family back to the
old village with his full dream. He will buy the land, build the
big house for his children, working on the farm and living in the
village until the rest of his life. His kids will go to school to
learn the honest behavior, duty, country and growing in the
            peaceful of the country.

It was on the contrary with Nguyen’s mother dream. She
wanted to move the family toward South Vietnam to open the
new life for her family, where she believed her children would
grow with a full dream on their lives without fearing of the dead.
Because she never buries the Vietminh cruel rule images in her
mind, which Vietminh agents applied to her and the villagers at
            some midnight.

It became the nightmare for her while her spouse was a
member of the National Party and escaped Vietminh death in the
dangerous situation of a minute at the Lunar new year 1949.
