ground with her extreme afraid of death and blood was leaking
out of her mouth. Her eyes opened wide to look at the gun, while
she was in a sweat and shaking. The trigger was click in
suddenly with the short shape sound, but it was as the strike
thunder in her brain. She fell on the ground with dull brain and
just heard the extreme scream of her son in the dark outside the
window before she was as a dead log.

She did not forget the scimitar that a Vietminh agent raised
it over his head in the dull moon midnight, and victim kneeled
closing him on the Buddhist temple backyard of Van village.
She shut her eyes while her hands are tight on her back, but she
still heard the victim’s short scream voice and the sound of his
head dropping on the ground.

In suddenly she thought of her children's future, family and
death under the beheaded hands by Vietminh cruel rules without
any reasons. She opened her eyes in fear to look at the victim
body slowly fell with the blood as the water tap sprayed out
from his neck to a Vietminh agent beheaded face.

After a month of their thinking and discussing, Nguyen's
father does not give up his dream of the paddy field in his old
root. He belief Ho-Chi-Minh and his key person will stop their
cruel rules and bloodbath for the people, and everyone will live
in the peaceful of the country after the war ended. He also
thought Vietnam might separate by two parts in a temporary
situation only, and the people will forgive, forget any mistake of
