Thorn In The Heart

After Nguyen was home, he did not see his parent and all
the doors had locked. He called loudly on the front yard and
walked toward any corner of the back house to look for them,
but they had gone.

The danger situations for a parent are cross Nguyen’s mind
by the stranger soldiers, which he just saw them on the road. He
was running toward his grandparent house in a hurry and worry
until Nguyen just ran through his grandparent's front gate. He so
wondered to look at the stranger soldiers on the large front yard.
They bought PCR-25x radios, mortars, machine guns, and
antiaircraft guns into his grandfather's house area. Nguyen
watched stranger soldiers setting up the antiaircraft guns among
the front and backyard. Few machine guns were hiding on the
corner of his grandfather's house tile roof and their neighbors.
Soldiers guarded around the area, and they have prepared to
fight anytime.

Some staff officers rattled the handguns on their hips,
walked around the house area for security check and got the
reports on the front line from their soldier by radio. The soldiers
separated into many groups, each group responding to a
different job. They worked and talked about funny stories, but
their faces had the real look of tied because they had to deal with
the difficult things and disquieting matter of war tension.

Nguyen walked into the living room in quietly to take a look
at a commanding officer and his staff. They did not pay attention
to Nguyen while they had opened their maps in the living room
and hung the maps on the wall. While command officer staffs
reported the front line news to a general, who sat on the large
sofa, an officer staff spreads a small map on the living room
table and discusses some problems on the map areas with his
friends. He marked the red ink high line on it and planed moving
their troops to prevent to fight.
