Thorn In The Heart

             "Yes, Grandpa. Why?"

"I had told you...! They will ask you about your parent.
Your parent will get the trouble, or Viet Minh will kill your
parent if you give them your parent hiding place."

In wondering, Nguyen opened wide his mouth.

"Oh my God...! I do not know about these things!"

Nguyen's grandpa faced up the sky. It seemed his eye was
far away from a distance on the horizon; his mind had appeared
the images of the war that occurred on his life between
Vietnamese and French colonial. Then Japan and French
militarist fought over the Indochina colonies for profit by their
overseas empire at War World II. The flaming rose all over the
country, and the sorrow continued in the crisis lives by the cruel
Japanese rules in the North. It made the dreadful starvation 1943
(Lunar At Dau), cost almost a million lives in North Vietnam.
Cause Japan, French militarist, also Vietnamese communist had
cut off all the high ways, and communications between North
and South. Also, they destroyed the supplies from South
transporting toward North for blocking their enemy and never
         think of Vietnamese people lives.

Any aliens lived with their power in Vietnam land. They
always want to be Vietnam’s lord, had the right to kill
Vietnamese people without reason and by their joyful.

Nguyen’s grandpa had a sigh and talked with Nguyen while
his face stamped as a sorry life.

"Yes. You are so innocent to understand those things. The
war is bad news for Vietnamese people a long time ago until
now. You do not need to know...! It was sad and sorrowful! War
did not set aside anything for the people!"
