Teachers are a very important umbrella of the schooling system. Without them the storms will
wash away the top soils that
protect the land (schools) from
forming a desert and protect
the plants (learners). Teachers
are the all-in one of the
schooling systems. They are
parents, psychologist, nurses,
informers (mediators),
leaders, administrators, and
heroes in schools. Since the
school has already being
placed in the bottom 21 of
schools that are problematic in
the Gauteng province by MEC
of education Panyaza Lesufi during the rape case in the school and due to gangsterism, drug
abuse, cyberbullying, and learners’ discipline.

Then this school will need an ideal teacher who is adaptive, flexible, creative and
knowledgeable in different technologies, innovative, embraces diversity, team worker, a
researcher, a life-long learner, and the one that extends learning outside the classroom so that
learners can earn the kind of learning needed in their everyday lives (authentic teacher) and
useful in the future. This will give learners a purpose of learning and to have interest in what
they are learning. Learners will also be able to build a healthy relationship with their teacher
which will minimizes the chances of misbehaving to have a healthy learning environment.
Finally, the education system in this school will also change for the better.

SCHOOL CONTEXT: Refers to the processes, structures, decision-making, and overall
aspects of the school organization that leads to the quality of teaching and learning.

IDEAL TEACHER: A teacher that possess all good and noble qualities of a human being that
benefit their learners’ success.
