Regulation of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology on the Education System
For Undergraduate Students B.E. 2554 (A.D. 2013)
In order to adequately administer Undergraduate Programs of Thai-Nichi Institute of
Technology, based on the power in accordance with the statement of Section 34 (2) of Private Higher
Education Institution Act, B.E. 2546, Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology Council, at the 35-1/2554
meeting on Thursday 6 January 2011, resolved to bring into effect the regulation as follows:
1. This regulation shall be called “Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology Regulation on the
Education System for Undergraduate Students B.E. 2554”
2. This regulation shall come into effect from the academic year B.E. 2554 onwards.
3. Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology Regulation on the Education System for
Undergraduate Students B.E. 2549 shall be abrogated.
4. In this Regulation, the following terms, if not stated otherwise, are defined as follows:
Institute means Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
Faculty means The Division within an institution that undergraduate
student studies
President means The President of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
Vice-President means The Vice-President of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
Dean means Dean of the faculty that undergraduate student studies
Program Chair means The chairperson of undergraduate program that
undergraduate student studies
Lecturer means The teaching staff of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
Program means The Curriculum that undergraduate student studies
Student means Student that registered to enroll in undergraduate program
at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology
5. The President of the Institution is empowered to issue orders, announcements and
instructions to achieve the objectives of this regulation.

6. The Education System
The Institute employs the two-semester system where each academic year will be divided
into 2 semesters which are the first and second semester. Each semester shall last no less than 15
weeks. Summer session may be provided following the second semester, with the period of no less
