recognized by the Office of Civil Service Commission in case of
foreign university.
2) For an applicant who wants to transfer credits in order to enroll in a
second degree, he/she must have graduated from the Institute or other
university that accredited by the Ministry of Education or recognized
by the Office of Civil Service Commission in case of foreign
university.
12.1.2 The transfer of credits shall be approved under the following conditions:
1) According to the announcement issued by the Institute, the relevant
Program Chair shall verify the contents of the courses or carry out a
placement test with the approval of the Dean.
2) The credit transfer of a particular course requires equivalent course
contents or at least three quarters of matching.
3) The transfer of credits for a particular course or group of courses
requires grade of better than “C”, or grade points of better than 2.00,
or “S” for a certain course.
4) The number of credits that the Institute accepts for transfer must not
exceed three quarters of the total number of credits required under the
program.
12.1.3 In order to receive a degree, the student must spend at least 1 academic
year studying in the Institution and must enroll courses at least 25% of
credits required under the specific program.
12.1.4 Calculation of cumulative GPA for completion of study and get the
Institution’s degree shall base only on cumulative grade point average of
the courses studied at the Institution and exclude the grade point of the
transferred courses.
12.1.5 The submission of an official transcript issued by former institution and
course syllabi is required.
12.1.6 Applicants who want to request for credit transfer in order to further study
at the Institute must contact the Student Admissions Center before the
semester starts.
12.2 Courses accreditation and transfer of credit from non-formal and informal
education shall follow the following rules;
