BUILDING A STRATEGY
PART 5 INPLAY TRADING
When Performance Buzz was launched we saw a huge rise
of buying and selling in play from traders.
Players performing badly would be sold while players scoring goals and
getting high points scores would see an increase in buyers. This was strange
to me at first because of the (then) twenty four hour rule on dividends
meaning new buyers buying high scoring performance buzz players that day
would not win any dividends. Week after week this pattern seemed to be the
driving force in the market so I finally put together a strategy and have a
decent sample size which has worked well for me and put me in profit overall.
I am going to use my Wayne Rooney trade in the Everton v West Ham match
on November 29th 2017 as my example.
Entry Signal 1
Player scores an early goal (inside twenty minuets) which puts him in game
winning goal position.
A very early goal will see a small price rise as traders see this as a good
indicator that the player has strong performance buzz potential and buy him.
An early goal is a good entry point because the earlier a player gets in a
game winning goal position the more potential of a price rise.
Rooney
Rooney scored his first goal in the eighteenth minuet so I entered the trade
and purchased fifty Rooney shares at £1.20 and as expected he rose three
pence very quickly.
Entry Signal 2
Player has failed to score that early goal within the first twenty minuets but is
on game winning goal when he goes and scores his second of the game.
If a player already sitting on game winning goal scores his second of the
game he now has a safety net which means the opposing team could score
again and our player would still get that game winning goal bonus. You will
then get high volume of traders buying the player as two goals plus game
winning goal gives the player a high chance of winning performance buzz out
right.
