               Task 29: Report missing items in guest rooms
                         OPERATING PROCEDURES                                 STANDARD(s)

                1.  Check the assigned guestrooms within duty.   All missing items are accounted and reported by the time it was
                                                             found out to be missing.
                2.  Make  an  inventory  of  your  room  furniture,  fixture,
                    appliance and other amenities.           All missing items should be supported by an Incident Report.

                3.  Upon identifying a missing item in the room, report it to
                    the immediate head- HK Supervisor for Rooms.

                4.  Make  an  Incident  Report  to  document  the  missing
                    item.  Copy furnish HK Supervisor for Support Services
                    and the Duty Manager.


               Task 30: Pick – up / deliver guest clothes for laundry and pressing services
                         OPERATING PROCEDURES                                 STANDARD(s)

                Pick-up                                      Guest laundry is picked up/ delivered within five (5) minutes from
                1.  Receive  request  for  pick-up  of  laundry/  item  for  the time guest called.

                2.  Proceed to the guestroom.                Telephone operator is informed within one (1) minute after task
                                                             completion.

                3.  Enter guestroom door. See Guestroom Task: Entering   Clean  guest  laundry  or  items  for  pressing  are  delivered  to  the

                4.  Check the laundry list if filled out by guest.   If the guest is out of the room, acknowledgement of receipt is done
                        -   Guest name                       through the Front Desk when he/she arrives.
                        -   Room number                        Telephone operator is informed within one (1) minute after task
                        -   Items and quantity               completion.
                        -   Guest signature
                        -   Kind of service (express or ordinary)

                5.  In front of the guest, inspect and count the items and
                    consider the following:
                        -   Completeness of buttons
                        -   Zipper
                        -   Seam
                        -   Pockets
                        -   Stain-free
                        -   Special instruction for laundry

                6.  Indicate the quantity on the hotel column of the laundry
                    list.
