               Anatolian leopard

The Anatolian leopard is the most critically endangered sub-specie of the leopard. The last sighting
of this leopard was in 1974. They used to inhabit Southwest Turkey. The Anatolian shepherd dog was
bred to look like livestock. The dog is rugged, large, very strong, good sight and hearing and is
capable to run down a predator. They were used to protect livestock from leopards.
