Indochinese black leopard
They are commonly found on the mainland of Southeast Asia and Southern China. They are rare
outside protected areas and threatened by habitat loss and poaching. The Indochinese black
leopards appear completely black with spots illuminated only when using an infrared light.
Javan black leopard
The Javan leopard was initially described as a black leopard with dark black spots with silver-grey
eyes.
