Use Case 2-2:
Mobile Worker at the Workplace Using Open Workspace

Anand is a client manager. He enters the office after an external meeting with a customer.

Upon entering the office premise, John’s smart phone automatically connects to the office’s wifi
network. He launches the smart space mobile application. With a few clicks to “My Favourites”, he is
easily able to check the availability of his preferred workspace.

He walks to the workspace, uses the smart space mobile application QR code scanner to scan QR
code on the desk and check-in to the space. He notices that the video phone on the desk is also being
provisioned with his phone extension.

Without wasting much time, he gets into a video call with his co-worker to update him on the meeting
outcomes with the customer.
