 • In order to define pain points when more than one department is involved you
      must prioritise the needs and opportunities across all departments

 • Understand the customer’s go-to-market strategy early on in the engagement

 • A Technology Gap Analysis compares the customer’s current “As-Is” technology
      with Cisco’s “To-Be” solutions and services to determine technology gaps

 • Prioritization and ranking into order of problems is essential in order to allocate
      resource to those with the highest impact

 • Identifying business case dependencies helps to communicate decisions or
      actions which must be satisfied in order for the business case to be fulfilled

 • To be able to judge the effectiveness of a solution, document benefits and risks
      associated with the business
