benefits, preparatory to deeper analysis

• Identifying business case dependencies helps to communicate decisions or actions
which must be satisfied in order for the business case to be fulfilled

• A Feedback Forum is a way to exchange positive and negative views

• A focus group with people who are close to the plan and who know the business
area can help to capture concerns about benefits

• When interviewing a manager their viewpoint can be confirmed by restating the
manager's view and asking if you understood it correctly

• Factors used in determining business objectives and desired outcomes include
business priorities and goals, critical success factors and key performance indicators
