Double Check – “Measure Twice, Cut Once!”

ƒ Take plenty of time to check all measurements again
ƒ If anyone in installation team has a question about measurements,
take the time to check them again
ƒ If the Liner is cut incorrectly it will equate to lost revenue and customer
dissatisfaction

D. Cutting the Liner

1. Cut Liner using 10” shears or a standard utility knife with a new blade
using a straight edge as a guide (Figure 14)

HINT:
ƒ Make cuts slightly inside of lines to insure a tight fit
ƒ Cut slowly and accurately
ƒ Make all through cuts on the same side and center of the stanchion

E. Fitting the Liner

1. Pull liner to original position adjacent to rack
2. Slide liner under rack (Figure 15)

3. Pull across evenly
4. Check all stanchions for proper fit (Figure 16)

ƒ No more than / 16” between all stanchions and liner
ƒ Fit should be tight and consistent
