F. Thermal bonding the Liner

                       1.  Using leftover material, cut 3” to 4” wide strips the length of the seams
                          (Figure 17)

                       2.  Prepare for Bonding
                              ƒ  Clean working area
                              ƒ  No debris between bonding parts
                              ƒ Clean nozzle
                              ƒ  Preheat thermal bonding unit to 525° F
                              ƒ  Allow 10 minutes for welder to stabilize
                       3.  Lay liner pieces with about a 2” overhang
                       4.  Lift upper liner until lower liner edge is nearly exposed
                       5.  Set the nozzle at a 45 degree angle with the joint
                       6.  Slowly run the nozzle parallel to the upper edge, use the roller to evenly
                          secure the 2 pieces (Figure 18)
                              ƒ  The edge of the upper liner should show some signs of “bleed”
                              ƒ  Discoloration is a sign that the bond is too hot, check temp and
                                 clean nozzle
                       7.  After bond has cooled (approx. 30 min) check the integrity of the weld
