                                                           Of

                                 LATE MR. BENNETT OKOLI

                                                             (OKOLI B “KOMA”)


                           r. Benne  Okoli, endeared to all as Okoli B or Koma, was the third of
                           three  children  of  Late  Pa  Emmanuel  N.  Iniegbu  Okoli  and  Late  Ma

               MAngelina  Okoli  of  Ezioko  village  in  Oko,  Orumba  North  Local
               Government Area (LGA), Anambra State, Nigeria. He was predeceased by his two
               older  siblings,  his  sister,  Mrs.  Rosaline  Ogbuagu  (nee  Okoli)  and  his  brother,
               Emmanuel.
                          Born on September 3, 1946, Okoli B began his early Primary School Educa on
               at  Oko  Primary  School,  before  proceeding  to  Agulu  Boys  Grammar  School,  in
               Anaocha Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State, Nigeria, and graduated in

               1966 before the advent of the Nigerian Civil War.
                        Following a brief teaching assignment at St. Augus ne Elementary School in
               Umunze, Anambra State, where he taught final year pupils in Elementary Six (6), as
               many Igbo Youths of his genera on who enlisted in the Armed Forces at the  me as
               a result of the Civil War, in 1968, Okoli B enlisted in the Biafran Police Force.
                        When the Nigerian Civil War ended on January 12, 1970, Okoli B further
               pursued his career as a Teacher by registering at St. Paul's Teacher Training College,
               Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria, and graduated with a T.C. 2 Teacher's Cer ficate

                        In 1975, Okoli B le  his na ve Nigerian shores for the United States of America
               in further pursuit of the proverbial Golden Fleece. Once in the United States, he
               a ended  the  State  University  of  New  York,  Oneonta,  New  York  Campus,  and
               graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and then proceeded to Prairie
               View A & M University in Texas, USA, where he graduated with a Master's Degree in
               Business Administra on (MBA) in 1981.

                          Okoli B worked for the city of Houston, Texas in a supervisory posi on in their
               Parks Department for many years before he relocated to New Jersey.   Before
               joining his last employment, the New Jersey Department of Correc ons (NJDOC), in
               1989 and re ring in 2011, he worked as a manager at Oshman Spor ng Company
