me ll today. I s ll await your phone calls and it is becoming real to me

Ithat I will never hear them again. I saved your last voicemail informing me

that you will be going to church on October 9 for thanksgiving following your
surgery. How do we go from that to “your funeral,” It is hard to comprehend,

very heart breaking, but in all things, we shall give God the glory. We cannot

ques on him. He is the only one that knows the best for us mankind. I have
come to accept your death as His wish.

I look back, and I thank God for the opportunity to be your daughter, and most

importantly, your first daughter. You made the posi on of a first daughter

seems special. You called me “Ada Mmadu” un l your death. You introduced

me to all and sundry as your first daughter.

Thank you for opening the door of opportunity for me and my siblings. You

were my mentor, my advisor, and my best friend. You pushed me to be the

best that I can be and I will forever be grateful. Dad, we love you but God loves

you more. May you con nue to rest in the bosom of the Lord ll we meet to

part no more
