                           3. Friendship with the world is hatred toward God

life lives forever, and if we pour out our efforts with all our

hearts to keep our life, and if we are busy to follow the world
as it goes and hold it, we will lose not only our life but also
eternal life. But, He says those who lose the world will rather
live. He says those who hold the world to live their lives,
even if they believe in Jesus, will be left behind at the Second

                 Coming of Jesus.
Believing in Jesus is to overcome the world, but not
to be a friend of the world. It is said clearly in 1 John 5:4-5
that everyone who is born of God overcomes the world, and
that overcoming the world is the faith, that is, anyone who

is born of God overcomes the world, but there is no one who
overcomes the world if he does not believe that Jesus is the
Son of God. Then, what is the reason for people to be a friend
of the world and be joyful with it? Isn’t it because they do

not believe Jesus is the Son of God? Because it is not the faith
that comes from God, they put their heart on the world, so
the answer is already clear. Then, why do we need to fit their
                 preferences and to beg?
Jesus said to His disciples, ‘In this world you will have

trouble. But take heart!’ He commanded them to take heart,
even if they would have trouble. Why? In John 16:33, it says
it is because Jesus has overcome the world. Jesus has already
overcome the world, so Jesus crucified and buried the devil

and his world, who holds the power of sin and death, and so
