The wicked things to God
righteous, then who could not recognize their master, Jesus
revealed that He was ‘the Son of God, who had made the cov-
enant to come’, but He was condemned as a sinner instead.
And He was spat, slapped, kicked, scourged, ashamed with
all insults and crucified in naked like a sinner by His people
who had returned to be children of Satan, so His heart was
deeply distressed.
However, the greater suffering was that taking the
burden of human being’s sins and iniquities, He was to be
forsaken by God. The burden was very big, so that the soul
was crushed, which it was a great fear that the soul could
not bear. But God put the burden of iniquities and curses on
Jesus, and had to hand Him over to Satan. Jesus had to be
forsaken like a wicked sinner taking all sins and curses in
His spirit, soul and body. The shame and fear that came into
the spirit of man were shifted entirely onto Jesus, so He went
through those shame and fear. Jesus was deeply grieved be-
cause of the weight of the sin, the shame and the fear, which
pressed heavily on His soul, and He was to the point of death
with the fear that He was forsaken by God.
Jesus said to His disciples, ‘My soul is overwhelmed
with sorrow to the point of death’, and He fell on His face
to the ground, and prayed to God, ‘My Father, if it is possible,
may this cup be taken from me.’ He prayed three times and
offered up His plea that if it was possible to take from Him,
