NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS:

               Vulcan Materials Company is committed to responsible stewardship with respect
               to safety, health and the environment. In accordance with this commitment, it is
               company policy to promote the adoption of, and adherence to, sound safety,
               health and environmental practices by onsite contractors.

               This  booklet  has  been  prepared  to  provide  general  information  about  what
               Vulcan expects from contractors working on its property or providing contract
               services for its operations. Chief among these expectations is that all contractors
              comply with each and every applicable federal and state law and regulation.
              Federal and/or state law and regulation will govern to the extent any of the
               general information in this booklet is deemed be in conflict with federal and/or
              state law or regulation.

              In  addition  to  this  booklet,  every  contractor  who  enters  Vulcan  property  or
               worksites will be provided siteͲspecific hazard training. This siteͲspecific hazard
               training includes safety rules and procedures which contractor personnel and
              their subͲcontractors are required to follow in maintaining a safe workplace and
               complying  with  applicable  federal  and/or  state  legal  requirements.  Every
               contractor who enters Vulcan property or worksites is expected to comply with
               siteͲspecific safety rules and procedures.
               It  is  each  contractor's  responsibility  to  know  and  follow  (1)  all  applicable
              requirements set out in federal and/or state law; (2) the information in this
               booklet; and (3) siteͲspecific safety rules and procedures.  Contractors must
              inform Vulcan if they haven’t received siteͲspecific training and the contractor
              and its subcontractors cannot start work until such training is received.
