25th ANNIVERSARY

A Great Day

Overall, a great day was had by those who attended,
with the initial chilly weather not detracting from
some excellent sporting performances and a real
sense of esprit de corps. I am extremely grateful to
those who provided stands and especially the Corps
Band Parachute Display Team of the Royal Electrical
and Mechanical Engineers. The day was covered by
the Army Media Team, featured on British Forces
Broadcasting Service Radio and Forces Television
and was also mentioned in the Tidworth Garrison
Drumbeat Gazette. A huge thank you to Captain Jess
Beck and Warrant Officer Class 2 Sally Williams for
all their time, efforts and ensuring the event went
well. Also a big thanks to the Catering Department of
the First Fusiliers for some excellent food, and to the
Quartermaster’s department for their support.
