Those in attendance were treated to excellent music from the Corps Band throughout the day. In between sets of Bruno
Mars hits and popular tunes, British Forces Broadcasting Service Radio Disk Jockey, Chris Sturgess kept the crowd
entertained with current music and commentary on the various sporting events. Following a break in the clouds,
attendees were treated to the sight of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Parachute team emerging from their
aircraft at 13,000 feet over Tidworth and landing with pinpoint precision on the designated drop zone in the middle
of the celebrations. The Corps flag was expertly delivered by guest parachutist, Sergeant Colin Jenkins of the Military
Provost Staff with Lieutenant Colonel Ian Large, appointed as receiving officer and congratulating the team on their
successful landing.
