Lots To Do

Whilst supporting those teams taking part, spectators
were able to enjoy a number of stands which included a
Help for Heroes stall that was being expertly marshalled
over by Major (Retired) Sarah Ferguson and the AGC
PRI Shop which had brought its wares all the way
from Worthy Down to entice the crowds. The bar area
remained the focal point for spectators although an
inflatable bungee run and jousting arena allowed for
‘friendly’ competition off the sports pitch. The British
Forces Broadcasting Service ice cream van made a
popular appearance in the afternoon, along with some
welcome spring sunshine following an excellent lunch.
