Something Different
This year it was going to be different, and the families would be invited to join in and enjoy the day and promote esprit
de corps. With this in mind, the event was planned over a weekend as this would provide the opportunity for a large
participation. Some wild and wacky ideas were put forward and there was a lot to consider, not least the weather, as
Northern Ireland has quite the reputation for rain.
Serious Deals
With the draft plan of how the day would run and what activities would be appropriate, it was time to start making some
serious deals, utilising local businesses within the Province to provide the attractions. Each activity was very carefully
selected, to ensure it was suitable for all abilities, so the younger guests could get involved with each of the team events.
