УРОК АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА «ДОМА. ТИПИЧНЫЙ АНГЛИЙСКИЙ ДОМ»
5 КЛАСС
Аннотация. Данная методическая разработка представляет собой конспект
модульного урока для 5 класса по теме «Houses. a typical english house»Целью урока
является обобщение и закрепление изученного материала по теме. Разработка составлена
для преподавателей английского языка с целью обмена опытом.
Ключевые слова: модульный урок, английский язык, 5 класс, houses, интерактивные
методы.
Aims – to summarize and consolidate the studied material on the topic to develop students`
reading, writing, listening and speaking skills by means of organizing the interactive pair and group
work:
- to enhance students` cognitive abilities and memory;
- to broaden students` general outlook
- to develop students interest in the country of the studied language and perpetuate
their knowledge of their country through linguistic and cultural studies.
- Equipment: handouts, e-presentation, computer, textbooks.
PROCEDURE INTRODUCTIONS
1. Greeting
T: Good morning students! How are you getting on? I`m glad to hear that you are fine and I
hope we`ll have a very successful lesson today.
2. Aim of the lesson
T: Today we are going to speak, read, listen and write much so let’s divide into groups first.
(dividing into groups “Cats” and “Mice”). And now let’s train our tongues. (Saying twisters: ”Little
Mouse”, ”Where do you live dear Pat”, ”How many houses had a horse”).
T: Look at the blackboard. You see these pictures (sl. 2) Can you tell me what we are going
to discuss today?
S: The houses.
T: Right you are. The houses. But where are these houses situated? Here in Donetsk?
S: No. They are in Britain.
T: Nice. The topic of our today’s lesson is “Houses”. In addition, will speak about typical
English house as well.
3: Vocabulary activation.
T: To speak about typical English house we should revise the vocabulary from the previous
lessons.So look at the blackboard and answer the questions. Where are they? (sl. 3-10).
T: And what is the furniture in the rooms? Do you remember? Let’s describe the pictures.
One by one, as you are sitting, make up a sentence starting with “There is,there are…”.
T: Now open you exercise books write the date and let us do the next exercise in writing. (sl.
11). The students write the sentences in their copy-books and at the blackboard.
T: I see. You know the words well and I hopeat the end of our lesson you will be able to
describe a typical English house well too.
