PROFILE:
Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
"How Might We?"
Follows curiosity to form an idea; asks questions to test the idea; scans multiple
information and data sources that may lead to additional questions or a potential
solution.
When GOJO Leadership was shown the initial PURELL Singles concept the interest
level was very low?ok they said they didn?t like it:)
A small group of GOJO individuals felt differently and asked the question ?How
might we? find out if PURELL Singles are a solution that the world needs. The
team developed a Fail FAST, Fail CHEAP approach that involved conducting quick
experiments internally and externally (e.g., local day care centers, gym, grocery
stores and drug stores) to learn and gain insights. I initial feedback was very
positive. Team became more passionate about PURELL Singles! GOJO
Leadership was still lukewarm on PURELL Singles and questioned if our paying
customers would find the PURELL Singles meaningfully unique. Team big break
came when ?by chance? at a healthcare trade show (APIC) that a large healthcare
kit company was wowed by the PURELL Singles?the brand, the formula and ease
of use.
The cross-function team didn?t always agree on approach for PURELL Singles, but
was able to work out their difference as a result of their passion for making PURELL
Singles a success at GOJO, across all the market we serve.
Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.

experimenting to learn, learn, learn.
