Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
When GOJO looked to buy additional machines, Tom was not fully sold on the new 8-Lane Pulsar machine
with its rotary Pre Cut technology. Through his relationships at Easy Snap and with Easy Snap suppliers, he
also found out about issues inside the company. After through analysis of the new Pulsar machine and the
internal situation at Easy Snap, he recommended that GOJO continue with the 6-Lane Star 6 machine design.
He also found additional machines that could be retrofit so all the GOJO machines would be the same. Not
only will machine commonality help with spare parts inventory and training, now all packaging can be based
solely on 6 not 6 and 8. He is also the lead contact and technical expert working with a US based builder of a
new style machine. All equipment is ahead of orders.
