       Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.

       Val's focus on internal customers (HR Recruiting) and external customers (candidates) is apparent when it
       comes to coordinating interviews.  She gets everything set correctly the first time. She schedules the
       interviews, finding time in the often jam-packed calendars of the interview team that matches the availability of
       the candidate. She coordinates travel and logistics, creating a seamless experience for the candidate. She
       interacts with candidates in a friendly, professional manner, leaving them with an positive impression of GOJO.


       In addition to doing her Healthy Places "day job" and assisting HR with interviews, Val also participates on
       many GOJO teams. In 2017, I had the opportunity to work with her on The JERRYs Employee Recognition
       logistics team. Her "customers" on this team were nominees, teammates, and the GOJO Enterprise.


       Her knowledge of GOJO organization and history was invaluable to the team as we coordinated the logistics of
       site selection, nominee recognition, event planning, and countless other details that are involved when
       executing an event for hundreds of attendees. In planning, many opportunities arose for creativity and problem-
       solving and Val always rose to the challenge, with suggestions and solutions.


       Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
       No matter the demands on her time, Val is calm and composed and ready to adapt to last-minute changes.


       Val is quick to volunteer and always follows through on her commitments.


       What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
       I have seen Valerie's focus on customers first-hand in working with her on interview coordination and on The
       JERRYs Employee Recognition logistics team.  The results are 1. a positive experience for candidates that
       contributes to GOJO's appeal as a place to work and 2. a meaningful, enjoyable experience for JERRYs
       nominees and recipients.
