Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
For me this was the greatest example of collaboration I've seen here at GOJO. It
was a combination of a large team, taking on a large risky project, across multiple
continents, and getting it across the finish line with high-quality.
The team members from the GOJO UK office were amazing to work with. They
were highly collaborative in their approach and demonstrated "changeableness"
throughout the entire project. Rather than focusing on how the old system and
processes worked, they were laser-focused on what is right for the enterprise.
Our team's here in the US came in the middle of the night to join WebEx meetings
to work through system build and countless Test Scripts. Additionally members of
our US team gave up their July 4th holiday to be onsite in the UK for go-live on
7/4/17.
What I saw demonstrated by this team every day for six months was "nWOW
People" way of working. The team brought diversity to the table when solving
business problems. They respected the expertise of others and valued their
contribution. Through this a platform of trust was developed that rested on shared
purpose, vision and values.
The impact on the organization is both intangible and real. The intangible part is the
connections built between the US, UK, Portugal, and Spain teams. The real part is
we've reduced a great organizational risk by migrating from an aging ERP system
over to our global ERP system. In addition to reducing risk it brings greater visibility
and information sharing.

Communication, Respect, Trust
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
The team went live on-time, within budget, and with high quality. The team
stabilized quickly after go-live and shipping returned to normal levels on week two
(well ahead of schedule).
