Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
Henry is a good representation of the Courageous Communicator because he intuitively knows when a
situation needs to go through a chain of command or when it will be more effective to pull an individual aside
for one on one coaching.
Henry's strongest competency is Approachability. He easy to approach and talk to and is always willing to
spend the extra effort to put others at ease. Henry builds rapport well and in turn often gets informal and
incomplete information in time to do something about it which has impacted the Enterprise because it has
saved the Environmental Department from unnecessary double handling of scrap.
Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
Henry's laid back nature and self-confidence make him a natural communicator with everyone in Lippman
Campus from temporary employees to senior leadership.
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
2017 was Henry's first full year in the Environmental Department. During this time Henry has helped grow the
department's relationship with other departments throughout Lippman Campus by beginning and maintaining
relationships with other departments and teams. He worked with new Leadership in the Distribution Center to
improve recycling efforts there and maintained contacts on all shifts in the Manufacturing Center to coach
others on new policies or to clear up confusion on existing policies.
