Micro-contamination and Quality Situations:
Shelly does not hold anything back that needs to be said; she's open, honest and straight to the point to get
projects accomplished which improves the manufacturing facility. She's not afraid to take action when
necessary and speaks her point of view no matter who is in the room. Some people may take offense but she
has improved dramatically in 2107 to be a little more sensitive to their point of view but is strong to take action
and get tasks done quickly and efficiently. Shelly also debates correct action and brings a totally different
perspective to engage people to think differently.

What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
Many projects completed to improve micro contamination including manifold upgrades from threaded to tri-
clamp connections, replacement of hoppers and break tanks, improved cleaning processes with drums, drum
spouts, fillers, utilizing steam cleaners for conveyors and equipment and elimination of soft hoses to hard
piping. Also, improvement projects with in-line filtration, chemical safety awareness, transportation of safe-
water to Wooster with sani-totes, and taking over mix tank cleaning procedures for cGMP.
