       Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.

       Carlos is responsible for offloading the majority of bulk tanker deliveries at Lippman Campus. Without these
       deliveries there would be no soap or sanitizer manufactured at Lippman Campus. This work requires Carlos to
       be outside every work day, even the bitterly cold and wet ones. Not only does Carlos have to overcome the
       weather on a personal perspective but he also has to work through and find solutions when both he and the
       equipment are frozen. Through Carlos' day he probably walks over 10 miles as he is responsible for offloading
       tankers on the north and south sides of the facility. This requires him to go from one side to the other all day
       long and includes trips to the In-Process Lab to deliver pre-offload samples.

       Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
       The incoming tanker schedule is very busy and has little tolerance for change. Carlos' schedule is somewhat
       analogous to a doctor's office in that if a patient shows up late, it could affect the rest of the patients later in the
       schedule. The same is true with trucks that show up late. This requires that Carlos juggle the schedule when
       multiple trucks show up at the same time. It can be very stressful balancing the wants and needs of the truck
       drivers (sometimes pretty roudy),the Guard, QC, Chem Dispense and Mix while maintaining a high level of
       safety and quality. He routinely works through breaks so that the tankers do not get delayed. Carlos knows that
       any delay could easily cause GOJO to pay a penalty demurrage charge and could also result in a batch of soap
       or sanitizer to be delayed.


       What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
       Carlos' strong work ethic results in minimizing delays of incoming bulk raw material tanker deliveries.
