Rox Ann Rock, Safety Specialist I
I’ve worked at GOJO almost nine years. I was hired in as a Unit Administrative
Coordinator in September 2009. In 2012, I accepted a position within the Safety
Workgroup as a Safety Technician and have since been promoted to a Safety
Specialist. Prior to GOJO, I worked as a substitute teacher while furthering my
education and as an Engineering Technical Clerk for Cable Manufacturing and
Assembly in Bolivar, Ohio. I am based out of GOJO Lippman Campus, but you will
also see me at GOJO Wooster Campus and GOJO Plaza from time to time.
Working in Safety has been a great learning experience in my career and has given
me the opportunity to work with GOJO team members across the Enterprise. I take
pride in the programs that I am tasked with overseeing, and I make sure that I am
always keeping up with applicable safety regulations. No two days are the same in Safety, and that is what
makes it challenging and exciting. I work with excellent team members and am truly grateful for this. Safety
requires teamwork, and together, we can achieve this on a daily basis as we go about our tasks.
Tyler Brabson, Safety Specialist I
I have worked at GOJO for almost three years. I started with GOJO as a safety
contractor in August of 2015, working at GOJO Wooster Campus. In February of
2016 I moved to GOJO Lippman Campus, but I still work at GOJO Wooster Campus
when needed. Prior to working for GOJO, I worked as a Safety Technician for
Corrpro Companies based out of Medina, Ohio.
Working in Safety, I am often asked, “What all do you do?” I like to break it down
into two segments. First, the part a lot of people don’t see on the surface, are the
administration programs I oversee. I, with the help of trainers and my team, manage
the Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hearing Conservation and Respiratory Fit
Testing programs. I also lend support to our Lockout/Tagout program. To make
these programs successful, I put time and effort into understanding the requirements
and passing my knowledge onto others in the organization, thus creating a safer work environment. Next,
what most may be familiar with is you can find me interacting with GOJO team members throughout the
Enterprise. I enjoy helping problem solve and making GOJO a safer work environment. Also, I assist in
ensuring that our team members follow GOJO Safety policies and procedures. I take pride and joy in
ensuring every GOJO team member has the right knowledge and tools to perform their duties safely.
The GOJO Plaza Safety Team
There is a Safety Team dedicated to ensuring the
safety of all GOJO team members at GOJO Plaza.
Safety Team members are responsible for
coordinating safety drills, conducting floor sweeps
in case of any safety drills or occurrences, such as
a building evacuation, and conducting training
and education. The GOJO Plaza Safety Team
members include Cassedy Arvay, John Jones,
