member takes ownership of the event and expresses an understanding of what lead to the
near miss, the leadership gains a higher sense of confidence in knowing that the operator
in-front of them will change their operational behavior- in a positive way. At times, we’ll ask
those same team members if they would be willing to share their story during the next
kickoff- this tool is used to raise awareness and share in each other’s experiences.
A year without an OSHA recordable safety incident is a great accomplishment, one that is recognized by
all. Manny Garcia said,
A year without a lost-time injury is a great accomplishment, and the DC team should take
pride in their achievement. I want to thank the Assistant Warehouse Manager, Supervisors,
and Team Leads for stressing the importance of safety and for this remarkable achievement.
And, Raymond Flauto said,
I’m very proud of all three shifts in the DC. Embracing the safety mindset is something that
we strive to instill in our team as a part of the DC culture. Our ultimate goal is to allow our
team members to go home to their families safely each and every day while providing
exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
Congratulations to the GOJO Distribution Center, Lippman Campus on a year without an
OSHA recordable safety incident! Keep up the great work!
