Flexible Spending Account
Provided by ACS
Employees can contribute a maximum of $2,500, to be used for
qualified health expenses such as medical copays, deductibles, dental
and vision expenses.
Debit cards will be provided to all enrolled employees at no cost.
Use it or Lose it” – The IRS has strict rules regarding the use of FSA
dollars within the plan year defined by the employer. At AYN, any
unused funds in the FSA, on October 1st, will be forfeited by the
employee.
Dependent Care
Dependent Care maximum amount is $5,000 per benefit year
Work-Related Child Care child care services must be provided by an
eligible provider
Dependent children 12 years or younger; or
A person of any age whom you claim as a dependent on your taxes
and who is mentally or physically incapable of caring for himself or
herself
During time that EE (and spouse, if applicable) work, seek work, or
attend school full-time
Dependent Care FSA is not annualized (“Pay as you go”)
Annual Election and “Use it or Lose it” rules apply (but more
flexibility)
Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO is available to full-time and part-time staff. Monthly accruals are
pro-rated for regular employees who work less than 40 hours per
week. PTO is expected to be used for vacation, illness and other needs.
