Accident
Group Voluntary Accident Insurance, offered by Guardian, can help cover
unexpected costs related to accident expenses. This policy pays a specific benefit
amount for:
Initial care such as ambulance, emergency room, and initial doctor visit
Follow-up care such as outpatient doctor’s treatment, and medical devices
Injuries, including burns, dislocations and fractures
Catastrophic accident
Accidental death
Who is Eligible?
Full-time Employees
Employee’s spouse
Employee’s dependent children
Additional Features
Benefits are paid for accidents that occur on and off the job.
The coverage is individually owned so you may be able to take it with you if you
leave your employer.
The group Accident coverage provides a cash benefit paid directly to you and is in
addition to your major medical plan with UHC.
