SHORT TERM SOLUTIONS

PLANTER BOXES - This short term solution can be very easily
implemented. Planter boxes are great for creating physical
barriers between the vehicular and pedestrian realm. They are
also an easy and quick solution to introduce more plants and
landscape to the streetscape.

LONG TERM SOLUTIONS

RAISED INTERSECTION - This long term solution is a great
strategy to put pedestrians first. By raising the intersection,
pedestrians become more visible to drivers which reduces the
IMPROVED chance of an accident with vehicles and pedestrians, effectively
