Global Marketing Operations
About the Team :
Global Marketing Operations formed with a Vision to Build a world class marketing operations organiza-
tion to enable Marketing performance by establishing CoEs to deliver an aligned set of match capabili-
ties and a single roadmap through driving consistent, scalable and measurable processes and govern-
ance.
A team of 40 members spread across the globe, carefully craft and execute the marketing message that
resonates to the audience segment using Marketing Automation Platform and other systems like
Salesforce and SharePoint to optimize the demand generation process. GMO is responsible for the stra-
tegic planning and guidance of campaign execution using a collaborative framework that is enabled by
technology to manage project execution across geo’s, measuring marketing performance of the emails,
define framework for all processes of demand generation, response and lead management and
managing workflow capabilities of the system that provide visibility to marketing managers and business
at large.

One significant achievement for the team was building in-house capabilities for campaign operations-
email builds which eliminated agency support in both EMEA and AP, thus saving significant dollars for
the organization. The team played a crucial role in executing the VMworld 2017 campaigns and getting
them in-market timely for a successful event. In the last 2 Quarters GMO had executed 4097 email cam-
paigns across all geo’s.
