frastructure. There is much more life in the class-
rooms and everyone wants to be part of this
change. I am happy because the level of satisfac-
tion is immense. We were able to sow the seed of
learning in the minds of young and old in the com-
munity. Their hunger to learn more everyday will
take them beyond boundaries. I can now proudly
say that -”Yes, we made a difference and Yes -
sky is the limit”
All the teachers were excited as well and they
started using the knowledge gained to deliver their
lesson plans to the students. I could feel from their
body language and attitude that they were waiting
for this day for long because now they could visualize the power of technology, which would make them
more efficient and productive. Few teachers went ahead and worked towards automating their daily
work because they believed that automation will help improve quality, help them in staying competitive
and free some time which could be invested in other projects or take on additional responsibilities of the
school. The impact was so powerful that even the teachers who were technically challenged or impaired
came forward to experience the change. They started believing that age cannot be the differentiator.
There is something very interesting with this community. They reminded us that its very important to be
happy and love what we do. Every day is a new day!! So instead of running after things that we don’t
posses, why not pause for sometime and enjoy/cherish what we have because nothing is permanent in
this life. They taught us that its important that we think beyond ourselves or “I” and help others grow. As
the great African proverb says – If you want to go fast go alone but if you want to go far, go togeth-
er!! They taught us that the responsibility of your life is yours. So don’t run away from problems, or
act like they don’t exist or pretend that your choices and actions don’t matter. Think of yourself as a cre-
ator, not an acceptor. An owner, not a victim. Accept responsibility for who you are, the choices you
make, and the consequences that result. Hold yourself accountable.
