As rt of the Research Week, the first UM-CUHK Certificate Course in Clinical Genetics and
Genomics was conducted for three days from 11th to 13th July 2017 by international instructors from
The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Prof Dr Leung Tak Yeung and Prof Dr Richard Choy Kwong
Wai along with Prof Dr Carlos A. Bacino from Baylor College of Medicine, USA.

These three distinguished instructors conducted workshops, seminars, imaging competition for
the course which attracted attendees across the board including researchers, healthcare providers,
undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as the public – all of whom showed enthusiastic
and positive participation.
