TWO AWARDS AT THE CREAM ACADEMICS ELECTED AS

STATUS AWARD 2017 FELLOWS OF THE ACADEMY
OF SCIENCES MALAYSIA

The following staff were elected as Fellows of
the Academy of Sciences, Malaysia:

1. Professor Dr Tunku Kamarul
Zaman Tunku Zainol Abidin,
Director of UM Medical Centre;

Deputy Dean of Research;

In recognition of University of Malaya's Department of Medicine;
significant contribution toward research
development in the country, several
researchers from FOM received awards at the
Current Research in Malaysia (CREAM) Status 4.Professor Dr Thong Meow Keong
Awards 2017. The ceremony was held at PICC Department of Paediatrics; and

JUMMEC was presented with the status as Otorhinolaryngologists
potential CREAM journal. The editor-in-chief, Professor Dr Prepageran Narayanan
Professor Dr. Tunku Kamarul Zaman Tunku received the fellowship award by virtue of
Zainol Abidin and its editorial board had brought providing continuous medical education
the journal to greater heights. and support to Myanmar.
