The Donkey in the Tree
His days were so relaxed and he was able to stop
and smell the flowers whenever he wanted to.
He wandered freely around the forest.
One day, he wandered to the edge of the forest
where he saw a house. No one was home so he
decided to jump in the swimming pool. He was
very dirty from his last game playing in the mud
with some pigs that he had made friends with.
A dip in the pool was just what he needed to
clean off.
So he got on the diving board and jumped in.
He did this over and over, and then on the last
jump he decided to go as high as possible.
He jumped so high, he wound up in a tree next to
the pool. He tried and tried to get down out of
the tree but he couldn’t. He was stuck.
