CARIBBEAN EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL ANNUAL REPORT 2020
Public Relations and Stakeholder Relationship Management
Stakeholder Engagement
In response to these disruptions, the Caribbean Examinations
Council (CXC®) has received funding support under the
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit
GmbH (GIZ) Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable
Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC), to provide technical support
to students and teachers. This funding will allow CXC®, in
partnership with The University of the West Indies, Mona and
the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, to:
• develop an appropriate online course and resources to
support effective teacher training; and
• facilitate teacher training workshops, via the new CXC®
Learning Institute, to support capacity building in the
delivery and assessment of Caribbean Advanced
Proficiency Examination® (CAPE®) Green Engineering.
The CXC® Learning Institute, the training arm of CXC®, was
developed to provide short-term training courses and initiatives
to various stakeholder groups. CXC® will utilise the platform
to offer regional and international training programmes via a
variety of delivery modalities. Within the coming months, more
workshops will be developed and rolled out through the CXC®
Learning Institute.
