Team CXC – Employee of the Year
Heather Sobers joined the Council on 1 July 2010 as Senior
Secretary, Examinations Development and Production
Department (EDPD) prior to this she did temporary stints in
Quality Assurance and the Human Resource Department.
Heather was promoted to the role of Administrative Assistant
in March 2016 and on 1 April 2020 she was appointed as
Editorial Assistant a role she currently holds. The Council
congratulates Ms Sobers on a decade of service to CXC® and
a remarkable achievement of sharing the coveted Employee
of the Year Award.
Kemba Gordon joined the Council on 1 August 2002, on a
temporary appointment as a Clerk/ Typist in the Production
Division. On 1 October 2003, she was appointed as a
Compositor within the same Department. She was appointed
to the post of Accounts Clerk in the former Finance Division
now Finance and Office Management Department on 1 July
2010, a post she currently holds. The Council congratulates
Ms Kemba Gordon on her 18 years of tenure and a significant
achievement of having won the prestigious Employee of the
Year Award twice.
