Team CXC – HR 2020 Staff Welfare Activities

The activities kicked off with the launch of Pink Fridays where
complimentary Cancer Awareness t-shirts were distributed to
staff. Following that, each Friday the following activities took
place:
• Cancer Awareness tips posted on our intranet platform;
• The presentation of a popcorn sweet treat which
represented suspicious lumps;
• Quizes;
• A Scavenger Hunt;
• A Presentation by Dr. Shernese Agard on the topic: Your
Breasts in 2020: Where does Breast Cancer fit Into the
Covid-19 Pandemic?; and
• A presentation: My Breast Cancer Journey by a Staff
member.

Western Zone Office Staff Limes
• Due to Covid-19 restrictions our social activities were
virtual. Online Limes were held for the first and second
quarter of 2020. They included a Sharing Relay and a
Movie Trivia to assist in building comradery.

• The Second Quarter Lime held in July focused on
celebrating the birthdays of staff born between January
and June 2020. Catering was provided for staff.

• A Day with a Difference Online Lime was also facilitated
in the third quarter, to conform to COVID-19 restrictions
while still engaging staff. Activities included board games
and the celebration of staff birthdays .

• During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, t-shirts were
purchased from Jamaica Reach to Recovery and these
were awarded to staff in giveaways.
