The Curse
We passed through the picturesque capital of
St. George’s and commenced to drive up the
narrow, snake-like road that seemed to be
heading to the heavens. On both sides of the
road was dense, lush forest and the air became
cooler and cleaner the higher we went – you
could have almost tasted the clean air!
We got to our destination and there was a sign
saying “You are now 1,910 feet above sea level.”
I was awestruck!
