exceeded last year's revenue by Rs. 3,16,267, and exceeded the amount which was anticipated in the
budget by Rs. 7,44,565. The increased revenue may be attributed to the removal of controls on
certain commodities in the U.K., U.S.A., anti India, and to a very definite revival of trade. There
was no fall in the price of commodities.
