From these figures it will be noticed that only in rice and piece-goods was there a slight reduction
in prices, the reduction in the price of rice was to be expected in view of the larger quantities available
for export.

The over-all increase in the number of craft visiting Bahrain was from the Iran Coast. Through
out the year plentiful supplies of live stock, firewood, onions, dates, potatoes, gram, rice and mixed
grain were arriving in a steady stream.
